ECE 701 - Doctoral Research I: Research Theory, Design & Methods

This course provides students with an overview of the knowledge and skills required to conduct research at the graduate level. Students will explore the philosophy of science, the role of theory, and the nature of applied research. Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research designs and data collection methods in educational research will be presented. Students will also consider the ethical and social justice implications of conducting research.
