MGT 411 - Human Resources Management: 3 credit(s) This course is an introduction to the formulation and implementation of human resource policy concerned with the major aspects of how an organization manages its people. A look at human resource management both domestically and globally is included. The employee life cycle from recruiting to retention to motivation to exit is discussed. The course examines techniques of human resource planning; recruiting, selecting, training, and evaluating personnel; compensation and benefits administration; and union/management relations. The course examines internal culture, diversity and inclusion, and the social responsibility incumbent in these values. Prerequisite(s): ENG 101
