MFT 681 - Advanced Topics in Addictions Counseling 1 credit(s) This course is designed as a continuation of MFT 545 and addresses advanced topics in treatment not covered in MFT 545 . In this course students review current research and program design with the goal of increasing professional awareness and skills in treating chemical dependent families or individuals. Specific attention to a systems perspective and various therapeutic approaches for the treatment of chemical dependency and substance abuse will serve as a critical guide to assessment and intervention efforts. This course offers current students and alums an additional 1.0 credit of course content in Addictions counseling. Prerequisite(s): MFT 545 and MFT 670 May be taken concurrently with Permalink
