ECE 500 - Advanced Seminar in Early Childhood Education3 Unit(s)This course critically examines current and emerging theories and research in Early Childhood Education (e.g., brain development in young children; gender identity/expression in Early Childhood) that impact instruction and programming in Early Childhood Education. The course also focuses on differentiating learning environments and curriculum design for infants and toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age (early elementary) to promote developmentally responsive leadership in the delivery of services to both children and the adults who care for them. |
