The purpose of this course is to provide the student with an introduction to the field of community mental health.  This course will provide an overview of emerging issues in community mental health counseling and will learn ways in which to address systemic issues within a person's community and surroundings that affect their mental health. Prerequisite(s): CP 301 Introduction to Community Psychology CP 310 Mapping Communities CP 320 Psychology of Culture, Power, and Inequality
