ECO 201 - Macroeconomics3 Credit(s)This course introduces students to macroeconomics, the study of the economy as a whole. Macroeconomics applies the basic principles of economics to whole economic systems and the relationships among sectors of the economy. Topics include GDP, unemployment, inflation, national income and employment theory, government expenditures and taxation, the role of the banking system, and monetary and fiscal policies. Topics on global perspectives on trade and international economics and exchange rate theory are also explored. |
